Day 1 - RIO DE JANEIRO Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro transfer from the airport to the hotel.
Day 2 – RIO DE JANEIRO During a half day city tour the most important sights of Rio will be shown. Drive along Guanabara Bay and Flamengo Park as far as downtown. Visit of the downtown area, passing by the financial and business centre and by other attractions such as the Candelaria Church, Saint Sebastian Cathedral, Lapa Arches, Municipal Theatre, National Library, Fine Arts Museum, and by the Sambadrome, site of Rio's famous Carnival parade. Proceed to the Urca District to board a cable car for a two-staged ascent up to the famous Sugar Loaf Mountain.
The afternoon is free at leisure - the following optional can be booked with our local SAT office:
Optional: Half day visit to the Corcovado.
This afternoon starts a half day beach tour including a visit to the Corcovado statue. Leaving the hotel you proceed as far as Cosme Velho Station to board a cog-train for the ride through Tijuca Forest up to Corcovado Mountain. The train ride takes 20 minutes and is a wonderful opportunity for a closer look at the forest's lush tropical vegetation and to enjoy scenic landscapes of the beaches and the city. Disembarking at the top of Corcovado and then proceeding up the steps will lead to the top lookout where the towering statue of Christ the Redeemer stands. After appreciating the breathtaking view unfolding below descend by train and continue passing by some of Rio's beaches.
Day 3 – RIO DE JANEIRO Day at leisure – the following optional tours can be booked at our local SAT office:
Optional: Full day tour to Petropolis
Going on a scenic drive up Serra dos Orgaos Range across the Atlantic Forest's lush vegetation through mountains and valleys as far as 850m high Petropolis. Visit of the Summer Palace and the Cathedral, and touring along that charming city's highlights, such as the Crystal Palace, Santos Dumont's House, ld mansions and charming squares. (tour can also be booked including lunch)
Optional: Full day tour Tropical islands cruise with lunch
The tour leads southbound along the Green Coast until the quaint fishing village of Itacuruca. Here you board a fully equipped two-master schooner for a leisurely cruise on the placid green waters of Sepetiba Bay, studded with tropical islands. Stop at one of the islands for a refreshing dip and then proceed to an Island for a lavish tropical-style buffet-lunch with free time for swimming and relaxing on the beaches. Beverages are not included.
Optional: Rio by night – Show in the evening
Visit a folklore and Carnival show featuring skilled dancers, entertainers, samba bands and wonderful costumes in a wonderful display of Brazilian folklore and Carnival.
Day 4 – RIO DE JANEIRO – IGUASSU

In the morning leave Rio de Janeiro and take a flight to Iguassu. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Iguassu is one of the biggest wonders of nature in South America: located amidst a sub-tropical forest in the triangle of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil, a gigantic row of waterfalls goes down into the river Iguassu.
Later in the day visit to the Brazilian side of the falls. The tour leaves from the hotel by coach and crossing Iguassu National Park as far as the Brazilian Falls. It follows a walk along the paths following cascades and then along the catwalk that leads very close to the bottom of the Devil's Throat to enjoy magnificent views. Take an elevator to go up to the road, and there board the coach to get back to the hotel.
Day 5 – IGUASSU • visit Argentinean falls (approx. 4 hours)
Today visit of the Argentinean side of the falls. Leaving from the hotel on the Brazilian side for a drive and a quick customs check, crossing the Tancredo Neves Bridge over the Iguassu River, which forms the border between Argentina & Brazil. Once in Argentina, tour takes a scenic highway up the Argentinean Iguassu National Park. Stopping at the Visitors' Centre and proceeding from there the Superior Circuit, the up-river cascades, to the Inferior Circuit, the down-river falls and then takes the Ecological Jungle Train that leads visitors to and from the most impressive observation point of the falls – The Devil's Throat . Return to the hotel.
Day 6 – IGUASSU – MANAUS – AMAZON

  • • Amazon Ecopark Lodge Package (4 days / 3 nights)
Transfer to the airport and flight to Manaus in the Amazon region.
Upon arrival transfer to the pier to start the Amazon Ecopark Lodge. Continue to the lodge where you will be welcomed with local juices.
The Amazon Ecopark Lodge is located in Rio Tarumã - a tributary of Rio Negro -approximately one hour from Manaus airport (30 minutes by boat from the Tropical Hotel pier), in the middle of the Amazon Forest. Over 6 miles of jungle trails enable the client to explore the jungle, orchids and giant trees. Amazon Ecopark Lodge offers 60 apartments in 20 bungalows (3 each), made of wood. The apartments entrance, porch and bathroom are completely independent, are all air conditioned, with hot shower and screened windows. Rustic, but also charming decorated.
Rest of the day is at leisure for own activities.
Day 7 – AMAZON PACKAGE • Amazon Ecopark Lodge package 04 days / 03 nights
Full day excursion to explore the variety of the flora and fauna of the Amazon region. Lunch included.
Day 8 – AMAZON PACKAGE Today enjoy a full day excursion to the "meeting of the waters" including lunch and Dinner
Day 9 – AMAZON – MANAUS – SALVADOR DA BAHIA

After breakfast and visit to the monkey jungle transfer back to Manaus.
On the way to the airport explore Manaus on a city tour. Outside visit to the Opera House, a magnificent example of Neo-classical architecture, considered as one of the most beautiful theatres in the world; the market place and the busy harbour.
Transfer to the airport for flight to Salvador da Bahia.
Upon arrival pick-up and transfer to the hotel.
Day 10 - SALVADOR DA BAHIA • half day city tour (4 hours)
In the morning starts a sightseeing tour.
This tour will give a good overall impression of Salvador and its principal historical landmarks. Departing from the hotel directly to Farol da Barra (Lighthouse) at Barra district, continue to Municipal Square with a stop at the Lacerda Elevator for a breathtaking view of Baía de Todos os Santos (All Saints Bay). Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Pelourinho district, the city's historic old town, UNESCO world heritage. Visit the Baroque Cathedral, built by the Jesuits in 1672 and Sao Francisco Church, Brazil's most famous religious structure with its intricately carved gold-leafed rosewood interior, fine paintings and sculpture and valuable silver ornamentation. Visit also the Pelourinho Square and walk back to the bus parking. Return to the hotel. The afternoon is free for leisure.

Day 1 Arrival Athens Meet and assist at International Athens Airport and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation in Athens. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 2 Athens Today after breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and start the half-day tour to Athens. This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Presidential residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Day 3 Athens-Mykonos Today after breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Athens and transferred to Piraeus port for your ferry embarkation to Mykonos Island. Mykonos sits amidst the Aegean Sea like a unique jewel handcrafted by time, the Greek sun and an anonymous local craftsman. All that can be said or written about Mykonos would be just too little. For centuries Mykonos existed under the shade of the religious centre of Delos and it had to wait until the 20th century to reach its international status and win a place on the world tourist map. Mykonos, famously called 'the island of the winds' due to the constant wind that blows, is the most popular and cosmopolitan island of the Cyclades and considered as one the most famous islands of the world. Day 6 Santorini Today, after breakfast you will be picked up for a cruise at the caldera and its hot springs. During this tour, you will have the unique chance to visit the active volcano of Santorini, walk on dried lava up to its peak, feel the heat underneath your feet and see the steam of sulphuric gases emerging from the earth bowels. Next, you will sail to the thermal springs where you can dive or step down into the blue waters in order to swim towards the springs (35-36 C). Last you will visit the traditional sister island of Santorini, Thirassia, where you can either swim, go up to the village or simply relax and have something to eat. Return at your hotel. Day 7 Santorini-Athens Today, after breakfast you will be transferred to Santorini port for your way back to Athens. Arrival at Piraeus port and transferred to your hotel. Free time to fresh up and settle at your room. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 8 Athens (departure) Today, after breakfast you will be transferred to Athens airport for your international departure flight.
