Day 1 On arrival in Auckland, 'The City of Sails', seat in coach passengers will be met by our local representative and privately transferred to your hotel. Self drive passengers will collect your rental car at the airport and drive to your hotel.
Day 2 Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Auckland city including a visit to Kelly Tarltons Underwater World and Antarctic Encounter. The remainder of the day is free.
Day 3 Travel south through the fertile Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the famous Glowworm Caves including an underground boat ride followed by lunch. Continue to Rotorua this afternoon.
Day 4 Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit Rainbow Springs to see New Zealand's trout, birds and wildlife before continuing to the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry. The afternoon is at leisure. This evening enjoy an authentic Maori Hangi (feast) and Concert.
Day 5 Depart on your domestic flight from Rotorua to Queenstown.
Day 6 Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Buffet lunch is also included on board today. Return to Queenstown.
Day 7 A free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price.
Day 8 Travel through the Central Otago region and onto the small town of Twizel. Continue north following the shores of Lake Pukaki to Mt Cook, New Zealand's highest peak. Visit the 'Church of the Good Shepherd' at Lake Tekapo before travelling across the Canterbury Plains to arrive in the 'Garden City' of Christchurch.
Day 9 Highlights of this mornings tour include the Anglican Cathedral, Town Hall, the Arts Centre, Canterbury Museum, the University, Botanic Gardens and the Avon River.
Day 10 Your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer to the airport for return or onward journey

Day 5 Travel south to reach the popular lake resort of Taupo before continuing on the Desert Road, dominated in the background by the three peaks of Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro. Continue south through farmland before arriving in the 'Capital City' of Wellington
Day 6 At leisure today to enjoy the many activities available. Highly recommended is a visit to Te Papa, New Zealand's National Museum.
Day 7 Journey across Cook Strait, which separates the North and South Islands of New Zealand, and into the Marlborough Sounds with its sparkling clear waters and lush forests, before arriving in Picton. Travel south through the town of Blenheim, before reaching Kaikoura, a town steeped in Maori history and legend.
Day 8 Leave Kaikoura behind as you turn inland and travel through North Canterbury to reach the 'Garden City' of Christchurch.
Day 9 Travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd before continuing on to New Zealand's highest mountain - Mt Cook. Depart Mt Cook and follow the shores of Lake Pukaki south through the historic Central Otago region to the 'Alpine Resort' of Queenstown.

Day 14 Travel north to Greymouth and board the world famous Tranz Alpine train (seat in coach passengers only). Ascend through lush beech forests past the alpine village of Arthur's Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps. Travel over Canterbury Plains to Christchurch.

Day 02 Depart Auckland travelling along the Seabird Coast to visit Miranda Shorebird Centre. Continue through Thames and Coromandel town, visiting the Rapaura Watergradens and taking a ride on the Driving Creek Railway narrow gauge train en route. Continue to Whitianga for the night.
Day 03 Visit or view the most famous beaches in the Coromandel area today - Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove, Hahei, Cook's Beach and Mercury Bay. Take the Whitianga (Seat in Coach only, Self drive will take their own car) to continue your tour exploring the Coromandel Pennisula and beaches, including Otama Beach Reserve and Matarangi. Return to Whitianga for the evening. Please note: the exact order of today's tour will depend on daily tidal patterns to allow you to experience Hot Water Beach's thermal waters.
Day 04 At leisure in Whitianga this morning. Book one of these optional activities - golf, fishing, horse-riding, visit local museums or shops etc. Optional activities not included in the tour price. This afternoon depart for Tauranga visiting Matatoki Chees Farm en route.
